Re: Activity History
My resent events log only has very few events in it. Even when I click "full log" it only displays a few different zone changes and has 5 month gaps. The download report is the same as the full report. What would I need to do to make all zone changes get captured in the log?

Vista panel expand capabilities for HA
My Vista with an EVL3 installed has been great for not only security but, because of my Vista 20P X10 and phone capabilities, has made it also usable for simple home automation tasks. I have a lot of those HA tasks going through a TPI that is no longer supported triggered by a phone app that is also ...

Re: System Power Requirements Maximums
I have this real handy current/power measuring device call a kill-o-watt. When ever I'm trying to figure out how much power something uses either instantaneously or averaged over time, I plug it into this and read the results right off the meter. My guess would be that you are correct, but I think ...

Re: Can not access EnvisaLink, Connection Reset
Update. I did finally get the EVL-3 communicating. Support is now saying that the whole reason for my problem was caused by me having it set for a static IP address. Evidently with a static IP address, the DNS server address will not update as needed and whenever Envisalink makes server changes, my ...

Re: Can not access EnvisaLink, Connection Reset
While away from my home, on Feb 22nd at 08:24 hours I got a supervision fault alarm. I checked that my internet was still up and running. I put in a support ticket and got a response from EnvisaLink that most likely the problem is my modem doesn't work well with a static IP address. I finally get ...

Re: EVL3 - Router Settings
My router does provide for some UDP settings changes........... UDP-FLOOD Protection Level: Low Thresholds: 1200 (5-3600) Packets/Secs Middle Thresholds: 2400 (5-3600) Packets/Secs High Thresholds: 3600 (5-3600) Packets/Secs Is it possible that if I set these differently, the problem will go away?

Re: EVL3 - Router Settings
I just upgraded my router to a TP-LINK Archer C3200 and having a similar problem not being able to connect with the Evisalink server. Is the only solution to go to a different router?

Re: Vista 20p zone bypass question
I've tried bypassing the zone multiple times now. I can see the bypass command qued but the header never changes to show bypassed. Is it possible that there are zones types (ie fire) that Vista just doesn't allow to be bypassed?

Re: Vista 20p zone bypass question
Grand wizard, thanks for the quick reply. I looked at the regular portal status page and see partition red lock symbol and beside it is away armed, but I don't see any header info. I disarmed, bypassed the zone and then armed again, but nothing ever indicated anything bypassed. Where exactly is the ...

Vista 20p zone bypass question
I have a smoke detector that started triggering false alarms while I was away. Needless to say, when my alarm company calls out the fire department for these false alarms, they are not happy. The alarm monitoring company is not willing to ignore just one zone and they will only go to a "test" mode ...
