under TPI 1.04, section 2.2 it says: "alternately, an application could watch for the period time broadcast(510)which is issued by the panel every 4 minutes. " but 510 is the keypad LED state, i assume its 550, the time/date broadcase? i monitored both output and couldnt see any trace of command 510 ...

have u try just sending 005user + checksum without conversion? that worked for me in java.
