I have seen this exact same issue with the EVL3 for Ademco panel, a lot of users of my software have reported this problem.
The problem doesn't seem to occur with DSC panels.

Is there any difference between the TPI for EVL3 and TPI for EVL4 ?
In other words if a software was working with EVL3, is it supposwed to work with EVL4 without any change?

Just started working with the Honeywell TPI. I've connected to a system and get data but it seems like I'm missing some items. %00, %02 and %FF come through, no issue. %01 events do not appear to be coming through. Looks like the keyfob is correctly setup because when it is used to disarm the system, it report a "User Opening" message with a correct user id.
But when it is used to arm the sytem, there is no "User Closing" message.

Why arming and disarming would work differently?

more specifically it looks like when a user disarm the system with a keyfob the TPI correctly sends a "User Opening" message, but when a user arm the system with the same keyfob, the TPI doesn't send any "User Closing" message.

Is this a bug?
