Allow me to hijack my own thread but can anyone recommend a home automation system that works this same way? I am starting to educate myself about the different options but the documentation is rarely technical enough to determine if the system would work sith my setup. Thanks.

Hi. I have a DSC 1832 at a remote country house with HughesNet satellite internet. I'm interested in adding Envisalink 3 to the system but there is a very annoying issue with HughesNet as they block ALL outside access to the LAN IP addresses. No Static IPs, no DDNS, NOTHING. My question is what ...
