Re: AlarmServer & SmartThings. Any tutorial/walk through available?

Thanks, Mike. That looks interesting but unless I am mistaken it doesn't report zone statuses etc to a controller so you can create home automation triggers etc. I'd be very curious to anyone who has done the AlarmServer set up.

Re: AlarmServer & SmartThings. Any tutorial/walk through available?

Did you ever figure this out? If so, how hard was it and do you have any advice for a someone sitting where you were a month ago? I'd also be interested in hearing from any others who have done this.

"Delayed" zone follower?

I know this is not a native feature, but I am wondering if there is a workaround that someone could think of. I have a DSC 1832 with the EVL-3. My wife has a habit of leaving with the garage door open. I have a sensor on my overhead garage door, but it is set to auto-bypass since we don't want to ...

Re: Remote Panic

Honeywell ? DSC ? For posterity, might be helpful to know the answer for both! I am not sure what the original poster uses, but I have been wondering the same thing for my DSC panel. Obviously I think someone could rig up a PGM output to trip a relay or something, but I think the question is ...

Re: Disabling zones 9 through 32 from the portal status page

Hmm... if the zones are not active on your system, they should not be showing as open on the Envisalink portal. It's possible you've got some sort of programming error or a hardware flaw (in the alarm panel or Envisalink). Are you sure you didn't accidentally activate any zones beyond 1 and 2? May ...

Re: Disabling zones 9 through 32 from the portal status page

When did you set up the Envisalink? I believe zones 9-32 should automatically disappear if there is no activity in those zones after a relatively short period of time. I don't think you can get rid of zones 3-8.

Re: Envisalink Web Portal Features

According to what I have read this module allows me to control my alarm system. Does it only allow me to arm/disarm and view status? It does allow you to arm/disarm and view status. In addition, it allows you to: - Set up email and/or SMS alerts for various types of system activity - Access an ...

Re: refereshing of status

I agree this would be nice, so put me in for +1, but I suspect Eyez-On may be reluctant to implement this feature because of server load concerns. If you have a degree of technical savvy, you could create a simple HTML document (perhaps saved locally) that has the web portal in an iframe and ...
