Re: Phone not receiving Alert SMS text
@GrandWizard - Has EyezOn tried using a random string as the account part of the return address instead of "noreply?" I am wondering if this might fix the problem with Verizon. Maybe they are blocking large volume emails from a single user and not from a single domain.

Re: Phone not receiving Alert SMS text
I have the same issue. The last Verizon SMS I received was on April 12th. The contact for Verizon disappeared from my EyezOn account. If I attempt to add the contact back on the EyezOn portal, the pin SMS never comes through. I am able to send to the phone via the Verizon email to SMS gateway just ...

EyezOn Monitored Device Off-Line Alert
I got an "EyezOn Monitored Device Off-Line Alert" for my EVL4 this morning. Everything seems to be working fine. Then later today I received a "Security Event: Envisalarm FTC" and then 20 minutes later got a "Security Event: Envisalarm FTC Restoral" Normally I see "Security Event: IP Connection Down ...

Re: EVL4+Sidekick Review
Would decreasing the wire gauge allow EyezOn to offer a longer cable option? The cable length is limited due to the surge current used in CAT-M1, and all 5G for that matter, devices. If you need to extend the unit you can extend the antenna up to 30m (100ft) from the Sidekick.

EVL4+Sidekick Review
I recently upgraded my EVL3 to an EVL4 and added the Sidekick cellular backup device. I thought I would give a short review of the Sidekick and what I learned from my installation. I ordered the Sidekick and EVL4 directly from Eyezon. They shipped it to me in the U.S. from Canada, so I think that ...

Re: EVL4 not connecting with router
Did you perhaps have a static IP set on the EVL and your new router is configured to a different subnet?
What do the green LEDs on the EVL tell you? These provide a pretty good indication as to what is going on.

Re: Sidekick Question
Before I purchase a Sidekick, I would like to see alarm-dude's questions fully answered and get some official assurance from EyezOn that a firmware fault or anomaly in the EVL would not leave me with an unlimited liability for cellular service costs. I trust EyezOn and have been a happy customer for ...

Re: Cellular monitoring of EVL for $6 per month
As an alternative to the old Sprint USB modem dongle, an old phone with USB tethering turned on can be used as an LTE USB modem.

Cellular monitoring of EVL for $6 per month
I've been using my EVL3 for many years now. It's worked great, but I've always wanted cellular backup in addition to my cable Internet connection. I've got that working now for only $6 per month. It was actually fairly simple to set up. I added an old router to the LAN port of my existing router ...
