Eh, it's only been 5 years. They may need more time to research...

Re: Is it possible to program DSC panel using EVL3
Works great! I subscribed, and after an initial learning curve, I'm all set. Thanks. Turns out the "master" code is not what I thought it was - I was entering the installer code. Since the portal doesn't indicate an error if you get it wrong, I just happily kept adding users thinking it was taking ...

Re: Is it possible to program DSC panel using EVL3
Thanks for the reply, GW. If what you say is true, that would be fantastic. Perhaps I'm just not fluent enough in how the portal works, but, when I log in an go to manage device, I see an option under "MANAGE", called "User Names". 2016-06-01_15-11-40.jpg Under that option, I can add user names and ...

Is it possible to program DSC panel using EVL3
Probably a fairly stupid question, I know... But since the EVL is registering as a keypad, is there any way to enter the DSC program mode (i.e. *8[installer's code])? Specifically I want to be able to REMOTELY add user access pins to the panel. I have a vacation property that I lend out to friends ...

Re: Envisalink web shows zones opposite of their actual stat
That's EVL factory firmware and has all sorts of bugs. You need the latest firmware. If the module hasn't downloaded it already you have some sort of networking problem. Submit a tech support ticket and we can help you out there. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Firmware 1.07.88 is A ...

Envisalink web shows zones opposite of their actual state
I've had the EVL3 on my DSC1551 at my primary home working like champ for the last few years. I'm running 100% wireless sensors throughout the home (26 of them). Never an issue with the EVL3's LAN IP showing realtime what the state of each sensor is... including how long ago they closed. So, have ...

Can EVL-3 be used to send http command to LAN device?
I currently use a VERA controller running a DSC plugin - which monitors the EVL-3 for changes. When a given sensor is tripped, VERA sees it immediately and executes a script (to tell my BlueIris video server to start recording and push-notify me). It works great, with no more than about 2 seconds ...

Re: Android/Tasker arming
Just thought I'd post an update on my Android auto-arming routine with Tasker... By being able to enter the unique short strings to arm and disarm the IP100D directly (without the portal), it negated the need to parse the current alarm status. Since trying to arm the system when it is already armed ...

Re: Android/Tasker arming
I envy your ability. This status page is perfect. I'm going to spend some more time combing through the Tasker profile routines to learn how to parse needed term, create a variable, and trigger the arm/disarm context. Another train of thought... Right now the ESP portal (both web and mobile) have a ...

Re: Android/Tasker arming
Sexy :) Short, sweet, easy to pick clean. Gotta admit, at first, I thought it was an error message since it was so short! Alas, I've run into some parm issues with tasker on the direct access. For some reason the syntax used to push the server/path/attributes does not work with the shorter URL. It ...
