Re: Envisalink 4 spotted at ISC West

Strangely, How are you? Haven't run into you on these forums in a while. You still running Vera, or have you also moved to OpenHAB or Homeseer? I'm good thanks! Like @Brientim, I've also been a bit busy and HA has taken a bit of a back stage for the moment. Still with Vera, but will likely cut over ...

GrandWizard wrote:How often do you change zone labels? I haven't touched mine in 9 years.
I have 7 zones to add soon and also re-purposing/renaming a couple of others.

Now since I need to do this in DLS, it would be a lot less hassle if I now didn't have to do this in my HA controller too for all of these changes ;)

Re: Envisalink 4 spotted at ISC West

Zone Label Broadcast Dump: That is so far down on the to-do list it gives me vertigo just thinking about it. Shame, this would be the only compelling feature that I wouldve been interested in (except maybe the unfinalized celluar backup) without any other information about upcoming features being ...

Re: Envisalink 4 spotted at ISC West

Didn't see these answered specifically:

- Is It a yes or no on Zone label support in the TPI?
- Also how about the DSC NEO support?
- Is the EVL-4 supported yet by eyez-on monitoring? They seem to be on sale now.

Re: Time stamp now off by three hours

So if I set to PDT, will it auto adjust for daylight savings in Spring and Autumn?

I assume not, and I'm concerned because I never used to have to worry about changing this through the portal in spring or fall, and although not hassle, its a regression in functionality.

Re: Time stamp now off by three hours

@GrandWizard, I've not had a problem in the two years with my 2DS keeping the correct time for my panel, however for reasons which you guys haven't explained yet, first this week I found it was 3 hours off (in front of PST)... which I presume might be to do with something you guys changed on your ...

Re: EnvisaLink 3 and Alarm Relay

No speculation, it was what they stated before it was developed!

I expect if you search, you may uncover the relevant posts. So unless they added their own secret sauce to it, this was what it was from Memory.

Re: EnvisaLink 3 and Alarm Relay

That also begs the question of if its using a "standard" protocol, what is it ? How would I even go about asking another company if they support it if they have never heard of the module but support ip monitoring ? The Standard protocol they use IIRC is SIA DC-09: https://siamembers.siaonline.org ...
