Sun users for android app
I'm trying to figure out how I can enable more than just the admin account holder's user name and password for the Android app. I know how to setup email and sms notifications but I'm not finding info for this issue. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

Re: EnvisAlarm Crash and Smash protection
Instead of a Intant PIR in one of your rooms, why not a tamper switch on the box where your system is installed. Tampers are inexpensive and reliable. You don't loose the access to your room and the programing is straight forward. Set all your Tamper Zones as Followers and you get almost instant ...

Re: Question about the "Verify PIN" under Contacts
I wanted to let you know that this is resolved, finally. And let you know how simple it was to fix. Verizon has a MyVerizon.com site that I can log on to set preferences. There is an option on the SPAM page to Block Email to Vtext. That box was checked. I cleared that and my issue is resolved. I don ...

Question about the "Verify PIN" under Contacts
I have not seen any instruction about the procedure to verify your text message address. Where do we get this PIN to verify the address? How can I prompt a resend if the PIN is supposed to be sent as a text to my phone? I'm not having any luck receiving text messages on my verizon phone. I get other ...

Web site request
Is there any way to have a alarm sound when an alarm occurs? I usually have the web page up on my laptop to monitor my alarm systems at night. It would be really nice to have a sound bite embedded to announce an alarm. There is often a significant delay in receiving a text message. Or the phone is ...

Re: Question about Reboot command
I am using a phone line on the system. One of the guys that wants notified on alarm just refuses text messaging. He still wants the residential dial notification. Which would be ok if he never missed a call, but when that happens I get a fail to communicate error that will not clear unless I power ...

Question about Reboot command
I would like to know just what the "Reboot" command on the portal does? Does it perform a warm reboot of the panel or just cause a reboot to the 2DS card? When my panel gets a fail to communicate after an alarm the panel will show trouble. And I have to completely power down the panel ( Power 864 ...

Sharing an experience to help others
I had a problem. I had a storage barn that was too far out for the DSC wireless to work and my buildings are metal, making signals even more of a challenge. Getting a wire wasn't a good option because of an asphalt parking lot. I finally decided to install a separate DSC hard wired system in the new ...

Re: Fedback from monitoring customers?
I'm a happy customer. The set-up is painless. You pre-pay, so there isn't a monthly bill. My system had a glitch shortly after I started the monitoring contract. And Tech support contacted me and helped me to fix my issue. I wasn't even aware of a problem before they called me about it. With the ...
