Router is working just fine, it lights up when any other device is plugged into it. Shouldn't the the link light come on whenever it's plugged into the router even if it's 10base? All other devices light up both on the router and on the device.

Brand new EV3 and I have no link light when I plug in the cable. I tested the cable with laptop and it works fine, so now what? Anybody have any ideas what I am doing wrong? The Key b and OPER light both are flashing. No act and no link lights.

Problem solved, envisalink3 only communicates at 10Mbps, not 100Mbps, had to use an old router that would switch automatically to 10Mbps.

Your router is firewalling the Envisalink. We see it all the time in tech support. Try lowering your router's firewall security level or turning it off completely.
