Please consider this a "me too" request. I have a video security system that defaults to 8080 - and is not configurable. My ISP does not allow port 80 inbound (to prevent customers from hosting their own websites, I suppose). There is an android app (DSC monitor) that I'd like to play around with ...

it's coming and in some cases it may have come..
I will see how the beta works. Everytime i've had an update (in the past), my IP has changed. I have the latest (.32) and will mess around and see if the ip remains static.

TimCDN, Did you end up installing a GSM module for your DSC 1832? If so, what did you go with and why? How is it working out? Do you send alarms out through both connections or use one for a central monitoring service and the other for your own access/monitoring? I use the telguard tg-1 on my 1832 ...

i was told the 2DS is FIRMWARE Upgradeable and the IP170D was NOT.

Anyone else having some false reports today? I've never had one false report since the line cut feature was initially implemented (I'm on AT&T DSL). It must be your ISP.
