Did you end up installing a GSM module for your DSC 1832? If so, what did you go with and why? How is it working out? Do you send alarms out through both connections or use one for a central monitoring service and the other for your own access/monitoring?

What is the network speed of the 2DS? When I hooked the 2DS up to my network my 100/1000 switch lights do not show either of these speeds negotiated with the 2DS. Is the 2DS a 10Mb coonection? I've noticed in the upper right hand corner of the 2DS Administration screen when logging into it locally that the software indicates 'IP170D'....Why is that? Shouldn't it show my card is the 2DS as shown on the packaging box the card came in? Is the software wrong or is my card wrong?

I just installed my new EnvisaLink 2DS and see there is a firmware version date. Is there a way to upgrade the firmware in the future? If so, how?
