Ok, I put the port number in for my DVR, but where do I put the User ID and Password.
I can't access the DVR with just a port number.
Also there is 8 channels on the DVR, so I'm not sure which one will show.

No DSL, cox cable.
I have it connected now straight to the router, and I already have a couple Faults and Restores. I will let it run that way overnight and see what happens.

Network Supervision Fault /Restore (filling my in box)
I used to get these messages occassionaly but when I opened my inbox this morning, if was full of about 30 of these messages. Is there possibly something wrong with my 2DS? I have tried new network cables and changed the switch but I am still getting about 8 messages an hour. I also ran a speed ...

Hey thanks for the reply. Not sure why the "envisalink" would not work and the address did, but now "envisalink" is working. I am using a PC and am registered. It's like I had to kick it in the head using the address and now it can be accessed eaither way. ?? You could be right that once it hooked ...

Ok, I found the MAC address on the sticker on the main chip.
Then used that address to locate the IP address on those registered by my router.
typed it in and up came the login screen.
Not sure why the "Envisalink" didn't work.

I can't get local access
Any ideas on why I cannot get local access to the 2DS? Brand new system everything hooked up, all the status LEDs are functioning correctly. I have reset my router and switches, but still get nothing when I type in "envisalink" Do you have any ideas on what I should try next? I don't know what IP ...
