I would wire it up normally open with the resistor in parallel. Zone type I would use type 08 24hr aux. It will be always active whether armed or not and the EOL resistor should be on the 4219 if you have an open zone. I think they are 10k but not positive. Installation and programming went without ...

great info here, thanks everyone. I have not yet done the install, but I think have all the info I need. sounds like I can use zone type 12 to get notifications, but no keypad beep or siren, and zone type eight to get the keypad beep as well.
