Re: Tethering the DUO
I ran FT4 alarm wire from my panel to the room where my router is located and installed the Duo in that room.

Re: EVL 4, DSC and lost installer code - hacking my own system
An update to my own post and some help for future users who have keypad lockout enabled on their systems. My system allowed for 4 incorrect codes to be entered before keypad lockout occurred. The lockout lasted for a minute and then four more attempts could be tried. Every 20 minutes the system trie...

Re: EVL 4, DSC and lost installer code - hacking my own system
Curious if anyone has had the following come up when running the perl script: 1. Keypad lockout in partition 1 as the sequential codes are being tried 2. The program indicating that xxxx is the user code but it doesn't work and continuing to run the program yields new "successful" user cod...

Re: power line Ethernet adaptor - power failure
Thanks for your response. My alarm system is centrally monitored and was on battery backup during the outage and reported normally when the power came back on. I have not been to the house since the power outage, so I need to trouble shoot remotely.

power line Ethernet adaptor - power failure
I am using a poweline adaptor for my system and it has been rock solid until a recent power failure. I am monitoring a vacation home and power outages are a common occurrence. Each time the power comes back on, the modem, router and connected devices all reboot and function normally. That is until a...
