Easy arm

I've had Eyez-on for years and when I use iOS to arm my system I have always just clicked arm then 'away arm' (without code). This has always worked. Today we made some updates to the system DSC PC1864 v4.5, now I can't arm from iOS Eyez-on without using a code. Any ideas on what I may have done? Th...

Re: EnvisaLink 2DS New Feature Request

Auto arming is built into the panel, auto dis-arming is only available on the newer boards with v4.5 firmware I believe. You don't need a 2DS for those functions.

Re: Partition labels in e-mails

I've brought this same concern up in the past, recent events which are recent activity after you click on the link don't show the partition names. I have 6 partitions so this is real important to me but I think most people have 1 so they don't care about fixing it.. I have several systems with more ...

Finish Portal repairs

I was wondering if you guys were still working on the portal updates. I had suggested and spoke with Rich on the phone about getting the 'partition 1' and 'zone 1' descriptions replaced with the actual names. I did notice since then there has been some changes. The description on the far left column...

Firmware suggestion

Guys, on the 2DS internal webpage can you move the 'change user password' to the 2nd page?
Its too easy to mistakenly enter something in there. There is no second chance verification! I really don't see a need for it on the main page.
Thanks

Re: I can't get local access

I am having a similar problem. All systems working fine. I can use the mobile browser link, but can not access local via envisalink in web browser . Using a Mac with safari so might be the issue.... Bernie Bernie, I'm using a Mac with Safari and it works great. You need to lookup the local I/P addr...

Re: 2DS not registering with eyez-on website

Have you used our mobile version of the portal? It looks great on Safari for iPhone. You can do a heck a of lot more things on it than you can with the local page and you don't have to log in. If you haven't see it, check it out. I say it is unsecure because the passwords are sent "in the clea...

2DS Portal suggestions

I spoke to Rich about this, I just wanted to capture it here. One of my systems has 6 active partitions so this info is necessary. I realize most systems are 1 partition so most people don't care. I suggested that when I name the partition in the portal that those names carry through everywhere it r...

Re: 2DS not registering with eyez-on website

The customer is referring to the outbound ports used by the Envisalink to communicate with the reporting servers. We ask that you make sure you do not firewall the range between 4020 and 4025. By default, you should not have to touch your router. You are referring to the inbound port of the envisal...
