There are other options to control devices as well. For example, if you have a DSC system, you can direct connect it to some lighting controllers (for example, HAI/Leviton Lumina/Omni systems.) Then the lighting controller can do anything you want in response to security zones.

It sounds like what you are really after is arm night immediate (my own name.) I don't think DSC directly supports this. Good job, I have one working here as well, but it needs some additional work. Did you notice that NodeAlarmProxy seems to die within about 24hrs?
