Re: Envisalink - TPI Documentation
Envisakit should be sticky and should be the core of all honeywell development: https://github.com/mklips0/envisakit Seems like this was probably the wrong topic. (There is another topic for Ademco, but this isn't really about documentation.) I think it would be helpful if there was a (sticky ...

Re: Envisalink - TPI Documentation
I got TPI communication with my envisalink 4 (and vista20p) working with envisakit. It's opensource, very easy to install (just a python script) and works in windows and linux. I'm suprised this hasn't been mentioned in this topic. Thank you mklips0 for sharing the code. Envisakit should be sticky ...

Re: EVL4 and monitoring phone calls on each event
Thank you GrandWizard! I entered the following command and it worked indeed (no more open/close reports):
*65 000
*66 000000
*65 000
*66 000000

Re: EVL4 and monitoring phone calls on each event
It's a bummer I can't split the reports to the dialer and the communicator.
Can anyone help me how to disable reporting on arm/disarm?
(reporting on alarm/emergency must ofcourse kept activated).
I believe it has to be done through *49 or *65.

Re: EVL4 and monitoring phone calls on each event
Thank you for the reply GrandWizard. I think understand the issue. So my options I believe are: - disable reports for open/close events and enable phonecalls. This will avoid the phonecalls for each open/close action (and only receive calls for emergencies), but will also disable the email ...

EVL4 and monitoring phone calls on each event
I believe this issue should be in a seperate thread for future references. I have a vista20p with EVL4 and everytime when I arm/disarm then the monitoring central numbers are being dialed. I put my number there aswell (to get a phonecall incase of emergency. 8 calls if no handshake). This was an ...

Re: EVL4 Installation questions
Thank you all for the help. I installed it yesterday. The installation went fine (got 5 green leds in no time). I can now arm/disarm the system remotely and get email notifications (which is great)! But I have one big problem: Everytime when I arm/disarm then the monitoring central numbers are being ...

Re: EVL4 Installation questions
I got these sources on disconnecting the power: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT_jJwtaf4I https://www.alarmgrid.com/faq/how-do-you-power-cycle-a-honeywell-vista-series-alarm-control-panel Both seem to verify that I need to first disconnect the main power (eg by disconnecting wire 1 or wire 2) and ...

Re: EVL4 Installation questions
Thank you again for your reply GrandWizard. And thanks for bearing with my newbie questions. I marked the terminal 1 wire in the picture below. So I assume this is the wire I have to remove... But what do I have to do to remove the battery? I also see the greenyellow/red/black wires on the marked ...

Re: EVL4 Installation questions
There are no pictures attached to your posting. 1. You will not lose your programming when you remove power. Settings are stored in non-volatile memory. 2. There are full pictures of the connections in the manual 3. Yes, that would be a typo 4. The foam rubber two-way tape give Honeywell users an ...
