Re: Seting a name for user codes?
I must be a little thick because I simply don't see in the manual where one can match up the four digit entry code in my DSC 1616 panel with my users' names.

remote door chime option for DSC?
I have a 1616 panel with te main panel in the kitchen and wonder if there is a way to have a remote door chime? We have teens and I'd like to hear the doors beep from a bit further away. Is this possible?

Seting a name for user codes?
I have five family members and want to be able to program a name for their codes so that I can see WHO armed and disarmed. I have a DSC 1818 with a PTK5507 touch panel. I know it CAN be done since it reports my name in texts when I use my code. For others, it just lists their code.
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

302 and 303 had DFFFF.
Just thinking 301 may have bene the culprit, I edited to DFFFF.
Still reports comm error.

DSC panel errors after installing Envisalink
I have a DSC 1616 panel. It has a keypad attached to the cover of it and we also have a remote panel near the garage door. That panel is a PTK5507 touch screen. The system reports "Gen Sys Trouble" and also "Comm Failure" even though the envisalink is connected and works fine. On the other panel, *2 ...
