Re: Monitoring EVL4's located at multiple houses

I''m a little confused....I don't think I'm trying to use the free email-to-SMS though...I'm trying to setup my cell phone to receive the notifications from EyezOn and when I select "cell" and enter my 10 digit cell number, then select my cell phone provider, it only shows Rogers AT&T....

Re: Monitoring EVL4's located at multiple houses

Another question for you GrandWizard... When I setup my cell as a Contact under my in-laws account in the drop-down list it only shows Rogers At&T. So when I choose Rogers AT&T and add my cell number to receive a text, I get a text from Rogers stating: "Welcome to Rogers Email to SMS. Y...

Re: Monitoring EVL4's located at multiple houses

Thank you for your reply GrandWizard...very much appreciated! It's not a huge deal if they have access to our house, but I think we will go with option 1. Not being able to control their house is not an issue either, as long as we still receive the notifications of events that happen at their place....

Re: EVL4 - old house to new house??

Thank you GrandWizard for your reply! I just spoke with my friend to arrange a day/time and he just mentioned that the new owner doesn't need the EVL card so we can take it out of the system and not replace it. This makes things easier! So when I power down the system and physically remove the card,...

EVL4 - old house to new house??

A couple of years ago I installed an EVL4 in a friend's DSC system and now he has sold the house. The new owner is aware of the EVL4 that is installed in the house he just purchased and my friend would like one installed in his new house as well. My questions are: 1) Would it be easier to leave the ...

Re: EnvisaLink 4 - Armed Stay Problem

I just installed an EVL4 at a friends house and had the exact same problem...when I set the alarm in STAY mode, it would report back as being in AWAY mode. After pulling some hair out trying to figure out why...I figured it was due to my friend always having his motion sensors set as active (in eith...
