EnvisaLink 4 Power Outage Concern Valid?
Grand and community, I've been reading that the EnvisaLink (3 and below) have an issue if the power goes out to the router and/or modem in that it won't renew the IP lease for quite some time. Obviously, if accurate, this would potentially create a large hole in the system. I will be getting a UPS ...

Re: Seting a name for user codes?
In this case I honestly believe the user interface is not as intuitive as it could be. Why? Consider that this is HTML and look at the header for that section. The white text on a black background. On the left it says "System". You can't click on that. It's a title in a header. Extending that, on ...

Re: Echo? VoIP Softphone? Why/Why Not?
Text posts and the lack of conveyable emotion and body language claims another victim. hehe Don't sweat it. Sorry for going off on you for it. My exuberance is simply a by-product of my infatuation with the product in the early stages. It solves a problem so obviously I dreamed of it solving world ...

Re: Echo? VoIP Softphone? Why/Why Not?
Um.... Thanks for the ..... professional (??) response to questions from someone new to your product..... Wow.... #1 Every other device I have connected to the Echo was touted heavily by the vendor of the hardware that now works on it including many big named companies. Each of them had to provide a ...

Re: Seting a name for user codes?
Steve, you're one ahead of me. My code (on a Honeywell) comes across as User 2. I second your request. It'd be great to be able to provide names to User codes. Now that I have this setup I'd like to add a dozen codes for specific cases, but having to learn the User # of each one would be laborious ...

Echo? VoIP Softphone? Why/Why Not?
I have a Honeywell Vista 20P system that I got control over and ordered the EnvisaLink 4 (which gets here Monday 6/13). In reading up on it, I wondered about two things that, for me, would be quite useful (and I assume others). Are items like this on the wish list or already in the works? If not ...
