Re: What's the current mobile login URL?
iOS 6.1.2 and Chrome for iOS 23.0.1271.100 The problems were seen on an iPhone 5 and I don't remember whether the other phone was an iPhone 4 or 4S. I just checked an iPad 3 and saw it on there too. And currently I have a mobile link available, so the problem happens when using the mobile login page ...

What's the current mobile login URL?
If I understand things correctly, if I don't want to use the mobile URL because the URL is sent through email, I should be able to just go to a web page and be prompted for my ID and password. I just put the current version of Chrome on the current version of iOS and went to: https://www.eyez-on.com ...

Re: New device is greyed
Thanks. I have everything up and running now.
I guess if I really needed the 2DS to be able to talk to a DNS server on this LAN, I could just stick another router between our router and the modem, and connect the 2DS to this "outer" router.

Re: New device is greyed
Thanks. Back to the original question then, if the 2DS already has information in its nonvolatile storage, because it was already powered on, what makes it try to renew that info? (Because we are trying to get mine to renew its info by power cycling it.) Does it try to get new info if it can't talk ...

Re: New device is greyed
Sorry, the FAQ didn't say which server it was talking about, and from context I thought it was talking about the DNS server. I checked the logs and there are some warnings from 2009 from when we were setting it up, but everything since then is informational, like "the DNS server has started" or "the ...

Re: New device is greyed
This is covered in the FAQ under "Envisalink shows OFFLINE" http://forum.eyez-on.com/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=230 Thanks. My situation seems to fall under "the 2DS and the DNS server won't talk to each other." I need to do the following procedure but I have some questions: The Envisalink stores ...

New device is greyed
Hi I just installed a second 2DS at a second location and am having some problems getting it to communicate. When I log onto the Eyez-On website, I can see my first 2DS that is operating properly. On the left side of the screen, the new device is listed under the first, but it is "greyed" and has ...

Re: Using mobile link with 2DS and iOS 6
It seems they have implemented a caching scheme that has killed half the web-services on the internet on the iPhone. The web is full of complaints about it. I'm no coder but this thread (and the two links at the beginning) seems to suggest a few ways to prevent Safari from caching stuff. https ...

I have avoided Chrome because of all of the discussion of Google harvesting information about users. I guess I'll have to check it out now....EyezOnRich wrote:Google Chrome seems to be the best choice
