Re: Which LTE option is best?
The only Envisalink we ever had to EOL was the IP100D built between 2006-2008 as its firmware was not field updatable. Everything made ever since is still in the field and still supported.

Re: Which LTE option is best?
Hello, I have a DSC Powerseries 1864 with a EnvisaLink4 and has been working great for years. I want to add LTE backup and central monitoring. Which LTE option is better for this setup? DUO or Sidekick They both seem to be similar in LTE support, but didn't know if one or the other was recommended ...

AT&T and Bell Cancel their email-to-SMS service
As of June 17th for AT&T, and December 31st for Bell, both carriers are stopping their free SMS service. This follows what Verizon and Rogers did last year and it is likely that all carriers will follow suit. Our alerting options still remain, and they are: 1) Free PUSH notifications with the Eyezon ...

Re: What's in the box?

For what its worth, we work closely with the Home Assistant developer(s) and work together to provide new features to them first. The UNO with Home Assistant ...

Re: UNO connecting to Hubitat failing
I really don't know but are you aware that the TPI for UNO is completely different from DSC? Maybe on the device type you should be entering something like UNO instead of DSC?

Re: What's in the box?
You can't program the UNO without Internet and you can't get firmware updates which are almost monthly. So without Internet access it is quite limited. Are you sure you can't get Internet access to your home?

Re: What's in the box?
The Envisalink requires Internet access for firmware updates only. You will need to do this at least once and then you could move it to a place with no Internet access.

Re: What's in the box?
Would I need to run a 5th wire to the keypad? Where can I read about it and that connection? I just see 4 wires R B Y G on the panel. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61tsuN2BtiL._AC_SL1000_.jpg Also, does the UNO work if it never has wide internet access but is only contained on my local lan ...

Re: What's in the box?
For the UNO you get a hardware pack which includes 16 EOL resistors, a 1K for the BELL, and a 2.2K for a fire zone. You also get your battery cable and mounting standoffs for DSC "cans". If you have a VISTA can then you will have to drill holes for the UNO or buy a compatible "can". For the UNO5500 ...
