Re: Missing firmware update button
The button only appears if there is a relevant firmware update available for your setup. The Envisalink firmware comes in a variety of flavours but all are related to the same software revision tree so sometimes newer firmware isn't available because there are no features nor bug fixes related to yo...

Re: monitoring question: call when power failure
1) In the special procedures section of your Envisalarms submission you can add a note to not be contacted for AC failure or other troubles. 2) No, you are notified of this through Envisalerts only. With the DUO and an LTE subscription, you get an "IP Failure switching to LTE" message inst...

Re: How to change EnvisaLink-4 local IP?
That's not possible unless you switched the ethernet ports so fast the Envisalink didn't realise it lost its Ethernet link.
Make sure the NET LED is off before you plug the Envisalink into the new router, this will make sure the DHCP state is reset.

Re: How to change EnvisaLink-4 local IP?
The Envisalink will use any subnet that is given out via DHCP. I use 10.1.X.X in my home.
The issue would be with your new router, not with the Envisalink.

Re: Newly added smoke/co zones not reported
The default reporting code may be zero so the panel won't report the event. Make the reporting code 10, or anything non-zero.

Disabling FTC and TLM errors on DSC panels
If you receive an FTC Phone Line X error or TLM error, this means you used to have a phone line attached to your panel and/or monitoring with a company over the phone line and now you don't. The FTC stands for "Fail To Communicate", and refers to the panel's attempt to call the central mon...

Re: Vista 32 support
So long as the panel supports addressable keypads and the LRR (device 6) on addresss 3, it will work.
