Re: benefit to pull-up resistors?
They are not "pull-up" resistors, they are called end-of-line (EOL) resistors. They allow a security system to monitor the zone for tamper and/or fault. They are installed in parallel with the NC or NO zone and allow the panel to detect if the zone wire is cut. They are obviously placed at the far ...

Re: New user problem - probably covered elsewhere but I couldn't find it
You need to complete all of your programming as it says in the manual.
DSC doesn't make anything like the Envisalink. You need to either install an UNO hyrid system or a Honeywell system if you want a no cost solution for self monitoring.

Re: enclosure for UNO and expander board?
On the side of your enclosure are holes for expansion modules. Otherwise you can purchase an enclosure on our website or any other DSC enclosure will work.

Re: EVL3 notifications
Hi, just to close the loop for other users, this customer came into tech support and we could look at his account. He hasn't programmed his panel to send any opening/closing reports (*65 and *66) so this is why there are no alerts generated. Honeywell customers need to complete all of the ...

Re: EVL3 notifications
Hi, you should submit a tech support request from your Eyezon portal so a tech can give you a definitive answer as to what is wrong with your system. But for the the benefit of others.... 1) You get PUSH notifcations just by installing the app on your phone. Once done you will see a new contact on ...

Re: defaulting ENVL4?
No, this would be the best approach. Leave information for the new owners about creating their Eyezon account as well as programming information about their new DSC panel.

Re: UNO factory reset?
Did you update your UNO's firmware. The default password only works after its initial update.
After that you can reset the password from your Eyezon portal under Settings->Actions->Reset <device name> Local Password

Re: Which LTE option is best?
The only Envisalink we ever had to EOL was the IP100D built between 2006-2008 as its firmware was not field updatable. Everything made ever since is still in the field and still supported.

Re: Which LTE option is best?
Hello, I have a DSC Powerseries 1864 with a EnvisaLink4 and has been working great for years. I want to add LTE backup and central monitoring. Which LTE option is better for this setup? DUO or Sidekick They both seem to be similar in LTE support, but didn't know if one or the other was recommended ...
