Re: Node-RED plugin for EnvisaLink
I recently updated this library and it should be a lot more stable now. If anyone is using the plugin I would appreciate some feedback.

Node-RED plugin for EnvisaLink
I have had this EnvisaLink 2DS connected to my DSC alarm for too long without doing anything fancy. Since I have started using Node-RED to automate things at home I decided to write a plugin/binding to EnvisaLink for Node-RED. If anyone is interested in trying it out, feel free to do so and report ...

Re: Anyone interested in collaborating on a Java API?
I would happily take a look at it. Is the code available from somewhere?

I will check for battery trouble next time.GrandWizard wrote:That is "loss of time" and it generates a trouble. This will happen if the panel loses power. Do you also have a battery trouble on your system? *2

Re: Automatic Network Time Updates Now Available
Do you mean "loss of time"? as in the trouble? Or the time is wrong? Loss of time can only come from loss of power. The Envisalink will only attempt to change the time if it is told to, by the alerting servers. If it isn't connected to the Internet, no such command would ever be received. Not sure ...

Re: Automatic Network Time Updates Now Available
Might this be the reason why my DSC panel loses date/time every now and then, since my EnvisaLink is currently plugged into the alarm but not connected to Internet at the moment.

EnvisaLink stops responding
I'm having some difficulties communicating with the 2DS over TPI. For some reason it stops responding after ~25 - 30 seconds. The socket is not closed and the EnvisaLink web page still says TPI connection is ONLINE. Here's some output from my application: EnvisaLinkMessage [command=505, data=3 ...
