I just got my Evl4 haven't install it yet. But according to the youtube video I watched all keypad come default address to 31 and address 31 is non-addressable. that was intended to avoid addressing conflict. Some of the programming may already be done by your alarm company but you won't know until you go into programming and check the sections which takes exactly the same amount of time as doing the programming in the first place. Honeywell with GSM and exiting monitoring company setup question.
My system is currently monitored by a monitoring company via GSM. I only have one zone and one keypad plus wireless panic button. I understand that I need to enable IP shadowing. But what about "Honeywell Vista Panel Programming Options" part? Do I have to do this part? It looks fairly complicated ...
