Re: Amazon Alexa Skill Information
Love the new feature sets looking forward to this growing. Alexa allows a routine which looks like it give the ability to adjust temp. I have created a good night sequence which is suppose to turn down the thermostat. Looks like this isn't working. I see your caveat that you can only query if the ...

Re: Interest in expanding control to home automation?
ADT and the other Big Alarm companies are not interested in new tech. Comcast forced their hand by getting into the market for Home Alarm/Automation. The big guys are only concerned on getting you to sign on the dotted line and have you hooked for a long term commitment. First thing i did on my ...

Re: Nest API integration
Depending on alarm system i seriously doubt they would open API's to let this happen, You can hunt around on EBay for used or new in box DSC EMS's if you have a DSC panel that will do this functionality today as long as you have the escort module as well. Personally I think the Nest is wwwaaaayyyy ...

Re: Network Supervision Fault/Restore
Agreed, I have 2-2ds's separated by 500 miles so different ISP's My Network failures have always been 95% ISP related 5% percent local power outages. Your 3DS is telling you that there is a network issue that you probably never knew you had. I relay on my network supervising to alert me of issues at ...

Re: Thermostats and Schedules and Pgm outputs Oh my!
Thanks for the feed back. Yes either one of these do not do exactly what I need but I think they have given be the nudge in the right direction. So far on my test thermostat. Arming puts it in Away Mode although the labeling on Eyez On shows as AUX ( hint hint). Disarm will switch to day mode. My ...

I second on using a system based DVR I have a 4 channel direct wired system I just upgraded to Blue Iris which seems like one of the best DVR software packages out there and Supports Foscam Cameras. I ...
