Re: Android app icons look wrong
It's not about remembering the icons, it's about the icons just not being right. The app icon looks off center also, but maybe that's the look the app is going for. eyezon.png I think it should look centered, just like it looks on the Play Store, or the Play Store icon should be updated to match ...

Re: EVL4 - are firmware updates automatic?
The website only shows the last 3 digits of the version, e.g. the local interface for my Vista 20P shows 01.03.173A but the web site just lists it as "Version: 173". I believe the "A" is for Ademco. It appears 173A is the latest version for Ademco.

Re: EVL4 - are firmware updates automatic?
Thanks for the info. Looks like the changelog now shows v174, is that a typo? My device has 173A.

EVL4 - are firmware updates automatic?
My impression was that firmware updates were automatic. I set up an EVL4 over 2 yrs ago and haven't really checked as it's been working well. I looked at my account today and it showed the firmware on version 136 and that there was an update. I requested the update and got 143 (I think) then there ...

Quick way to send #2 or #7 from Android app?
#2 and #7 are the most common (only?) quick commands I use with my Vista 20p. I like them because you don't have to enter the code and don't really care much to track who arms it. But from the Android app, while possible, it takes a bunch of taps.
Any way to have some quick shortcuts for #2 and #7?

Virtual Keypad for mobile and web apps
Suggestion: please add a virtual keypad to the mobile and web app. I've seen other alarm apps that do it like that, I think it's convenient and familiar to be able to quickly press for example `#7` or `#2` without entering any codes.

Re: Where to buy EVL-4EZR from - which authorized dealers?
I'm up and running and switched over from IpDatatel. Fairly easy install if you have the patience to read a few instructions and pay attention.
Thanks!

I'm up and running. Not bad at all once I discovered the manual:

Re: Where to buy EVL-4EZR from - which authorized dealers?
Apologies but your answer is still unclear to me. Are there both EVL-4EZR and EVL-4EZ models? If yes, what are the differences?GrandWizard wrote:No, that's the actual model number, EVL-4EZR.
