Re: any way to disable the SYSTEM LO BAT warning?

alarm and siren works fine without the battery. it's just used if you want to keep the alarm powered during a blackout. i did see on youtube someone changing their battery and it started beeping. the builders must have done something in my panel to prevent the beep without the battery. I didn't find...

any way to disable the SYSTEM LO BAT warning?

My honeywell did not come with a battery, and honestly, don't see much purpose in adding one, since on a no power event, the envisalink won't be able to connect to the internet anyway (and putting my router and alarm behind a UPS is very complicated) Is there a way to disable the SYSTEM LO BAT / Sys...

add another person to my system

I have someone that will be moving in, so i want them to have access to the system. I read an old post stating that this is currently not possible but wanted to ask in case there's an update. Note that we do plan to get the monthly professional monitoring plan, but do not have that set up just yet. ...

Re: when disarming via mobile app, i hear 2 beeps on the keypad instead of one

interesting bit, but the 2 beeps experience is only through the app. if you use the API, such as when using home assistant, it will beep only once.

Re: when disarming via mobile app, i hear 2 beeps on the keypad instead of one

thanks. i'm guessing there's no way to "if previousalarm=true then unlocktwice() else unlockonce()" :D

when disarming via mobile app, i hear 2 beeps on the keypad instead of one

topic. why does this happen? nothing "wrong" here, it's working. but wonder why i hear 2 beeps instead of one, like i do when using the keypad directly (vista 15p)

i don't have this issue when arming, i hear the same 3 beeps with mobile app or keypad

Re: Can someone explain the *29 configuration?

thanks. perhaps the manual can be changed to reflect this (no beeps) for some of the menu options on some panel versions. it would be even greater to add a video while making the programming to prevent any potential confusion. i'm not the only one that got confused due to this, this blog post https:...

Re: Can't find EVL4 on my network. Same WAN and LAN ip!

solved it turns out this was all due to a faulty ethernet cable i added yesterday which was preventing proper communication between the envisalink and the router, so when it made the DHCREQUEST packet it got a reply from the only device that had connectivity that could make a DHCPOFFER back: the mod...

Re: Can't find EVL4 on my network. Same WAN and LAN ip!

I have two switches and nearly 2 dozen devices and never had this issue with any of them. The reason I have wired it this way is due to an internal cable that goes through some pipes on the attic not being long enough by about 3 feet, which would force me to put my router inside the wiring cabinet (...
