Re: Help me test an instant notification system
I also wanted to be able to send partition messages to the right devices (not all messages to all devices) and also filtering of messages by time. The final one was to be able to trigger actions at home (turn on motion detection on a foscam), without having to have a TPI daemon running to perform ...

Re: Help me test an instant notification system
Knock yourself out. The reason we use the email-to-sms method of SMS is because it is free for most people (I thought it was free for everybody actually). Keep the group posted on your efforts. Are you using he TPI? Yup I understand the email-to-sms reasons. But as your own experience has shown ...

Re: Not getting Text Alerts
Have you tried sending an email to your email-to-sms gateway (as listed on the portal). Usually along the lines of phonenumber@cellularprovider.com to see if you can get those messages.

Re: Security events
#1 In the emails I get the user code that performed the action is sent along with the security event. YOu can program in the eyez-on portal a "friendly" name for the user code, so that instead of action performed by code 1, it will say action performed by ABC. Do note that it can only tell you an ...

Help me test an instant notification system
Im working on a side project, a notification system that uses iOS push notifications and/or sms to notify you of security events. (Tropo + Twilio) This came about because notification events via email are very quick, but I found my phone sometimes doesnt check email quickly enough (or even for a ...

Re: Thermostat?
The slow response is due to the 5 minute contact interval, but when you are in the same LAN the update from the iPhone app is instant. When you are away from home, does 5 minutes really matter? I got mine from home depot south of the border for $99. I too thought the extra $100-150 for humidifier ...

Possible to have a second user access to specific partition
Is it possible with the current eyez-on/envisalink 3ds portal to give a person a username/password that gives them access only to a partition of my system ? More specifically, I would love to give access to the suite partition but not the whole house. Or at the very least, set them up with email ...

Re: EnvisaLink 3 Concerns
Also, I will be adding an IP Camera (Interior) to my System, one Interior and one Exterior (Front Door). The Exterior Location has a Coax Cable and Power (two Conductor) Cable to that location and it is NOT possible to run any new Wiring to that location. I would prefer to use the Coax and Power ...

Re: New Feature Requests
On the mobile portal: - the Zone Activity list (after clicking on the one numbers) order it by time of last activity (currently its by zone number). The web interface displays zone activity by time. - add ability to click on a number in the zone activity and have it show the last activity time ...

I too got the 3M-50 unit. I love it.ayork wrote:I installed the evl-3 with my Honeywell Vista 20P. I also bought the 3M Filtrete WIFI thermostat, 3M-50. I am pretty happy with the thermostat especially you can monitor it for free via radiothermostat.com/filtrete (there is also an app for Iphone or android).
