That did it! Thank you! I had a really hard time finding any documentation on the setup, so I was just making it up as I went. This page resolved the issue!

I can view the status on line, as well as arm and disarm it. by online I'm referring to the eyez on website not the local interface.

I tried this, plus I control my own mail server. None of my contacts receive alerts.
Maybe related: the event log shows blank. No arms, disarms or alarms logged.

Hello! I have an EnvisaLink 3, that's working great for arming, disarming and otherwise managing a Vista 20P. However, I can't seem to get any alerts sent to my two contacts, either via email or text (vtext.com). I've tried removing and readding the contacts, and the contacts have been verified ...
