Re: Alarm Relay wants to charge for open/closing reports
EOppegaard: I just conducted a series of test by opening and closing the front door and no (VOIP) calls went out through the ARIM Device (nothing sent to the Central Station), yet I do get the opening/closing Envisalerts. I'm using the Ademco VISTA 20P Panel with the ARIM Device. I'm not sure what t...

Re: Alarm Relay wants to charge for open/closing reports
I am still thinking we are going to end with either no open/close reporting, or switching to IP based monitoring that can filter the reporting. I assume that by by IP based monitoring you mean using the Alarm Relay's ARIM device, since you mentioned that they will charge you the extra $5.00 per mon...

Re: Manage Contacts
What occurred was that you blocked incoming text from EYEZ-On by inadvertently clicking on one of the text. It has happened to me and the only way to unblock it was to send a text back to the EYEZ-ON (contact), which is not possible. So the solution was just to create a new account. Watch out for th...

Re: Alarm Relay wants to charge for open/closing reports
Though being placed on hold a bunch, called back, speaking with service, and a "senior account manager" I was told that they can program the panel to only send Open/Close reports to the EnvisaLink. I told them I didn't think this was possible, but they were welcome to try. My logic is cor...

Re: Manage Contacts
You could try Pinger. They is a Web Version and an iPhone/Android app also. Free texting to certain international destinations, etc.

Re: Envisalink 2DS lost after power cycled
When this incidence occurred, where you other LAN connected devices were able to get an IP address from your Router? Sometimes, depending on the Router and the type of Firmware you are using, the Router might "synch" before the Modem gets a WAN IP Address from the ISP, resulting in the LAN...

Re: Panic Code or Button for Vista 15P
Great tzose! I thought about the issue of seeing something on a camera while writing the post. Thanks again.
EDIT: One last question: Isn't a Panic Alarm a silent alarm...no siren?

Re: Panic Code or Button for Vista 15P
I'm a little bit dense, so bear with me. Why would anyone want to "activate a panic alarm" from the Local or Mobile Web Browser? I'm just trying to understand under what scenario would this be useful. Thanks.

Re: Alarm Relay Claims "Invalid Reports"
Are you on DSC or Honeywell? We are on Honeywell, Vista 20p. I believe we are somewhat stuck, as reports are sent to both the Envisalink and the dialer with the Vista panels...right? Thanks for the response GrandWizard. Overall we are really happy with the product. I wonder why this is not an issue...
