Re: Alarm in Memory - Alerts Stop (Ademco VISTA 20 P Panel)
What I find very puzzling is that if an Alarm event occurs (and the siren is sounding) and you open multiple zones, those additional zone openings are transmitted to the Alarm Monitoring Center (confirm by test), yet those additional zone opening does not register to the EnvisaLink 3 during the the ...

Re: EnvisaLink 3 Concerns
The Ademco VISTA panels are typically setup to transmit an alarm event after a certain delay. I think the default is 30 seconds. Our system had the default and when another Alarm Tech came out to add another door sensor, I ask him to reduce the delay time from 30 seconds to 0!! If you disarm the ...

Re: Notifications - Openings/Closing
I'm talking about the "opening" and "closing" of the system that happens whenever you Arm/Disarm the system. Huh? Where was this stated in your original post? You need to be specific when asking for help. If you unchecked Arms and Disarms, shouldn't that stop the notifications associated with ...

Re: Notifications - Openings/Closing
You want to unchecked Zone Followers to not receive ANY opening and closing notification. What I do is unchecked the zones (under Manage Device>>>Manage Zone Followers) that I do not want to follow (motion Detectors, all frequently open doors) and leave the others checked.

Re: Away alarm and Stay Alarm
You will have to disable Auto Stay function on the VISTA 15P. When you set the system to away, it is looking for an entry/exit door to open/close. If the system does not detect this door being opened (and subsequently closed), the system defaults to the stay mode, think someone is still inside the ...

Re: Extra charge for opening/closing, etc. reporting
I have an Ademco VISTA 20P Panel and my Alarm Monitoring is through Alarm Relay. I have their ARIM device (not cellular) and I have not heard anything from them regarding the increase reporting. Their ARIM Device is simply a PAP2T-NA VOIP ATA connected to with two leads (telephone cable) to the ...

Running List of New Features and Estimated Time to Implement
Is there any way we can have a running list of New Features and Estimated Time to Implement them? We keep seeing new feature request, yet we have no idea what is in the pipeline and when we should expect the rollout of any of the new features. At the top of my list would be an actual Virtual keypad ...

Re: Suggestion -- Optional Mounting box for the EV3
Your suggestion had me thinking. Does the EnvisaLink 3 generate any appreciable amount of heat and if enclosed in a standalone box, should provision be made at the top of the enclosure to vent the box to minimize rising temperature inside the box?
