Reboot required

There were a couple times when I got into this weird state that required me to reboot the Envisalink before it was able to accept commands again. Both times when this happened, I was trying to send a bypass command using the mobile portal. The panel never received the command. I can see the command ...

Re: Why didn't anyone make an iphone app?

The only reason we don't auto-refresh is so that you don't forget that it is open and you accidentally drive your cell data bill up. You can always stop the auto-refresh after the queued command has been processed, or if you hit some upper timeout limit, like 60 seconds. This should be an Ajax ...

Re: Supervision/Line Cut Events Late or Never?

Even though this 10 minute wait cannot currently be modified by the user, is this something support can do for us?

Re: Envisalink 3 installed on Honeywell Vista 20 panel

I did use those instructions yo highlighted and I am receiving signals such as arming and un-arming but do not see how I can send commands to arm or un-arm, etc. I am a bit confused as to what you mean. On the Eyez-On portal, there is a big "Arm" link. What happens when you click on that and enter ...

Re: how to send commands from envisalin 3 to vista 20p?

Are you able to arm and disarm yet? If not, then you probably didn't follow this set of instructions specific to Honeywell panels (I also have a Vista 20p):

Re: Envisalink 3 installed on Honeywell Vista 20 panel

I have the exact same setup as you and also ran into the same problem. It was because I didn't follow the extra instructions necessary for Honeywell panels. Give these a try:

Re: Supervision/Line Cut Events Late or Never?

Thanks for looking into that change! Yes, I will definitely not set it to something like 20 seconds, as that is overkill. My U-verse modem comes with an admin screen that tells me how often it is down and for how long. I (or anyone) would probably want to set this Eyez-On notification setting based ...

Re: Supervision/Line Cut Events Late or Never?

Is there a way to shorten this 10 min period? Before I found EnvisaLink, I was looking at a Honeywell IP communicator (7847i) and it pings the server every 20 seconds. I don't know what happens on the server side, but I would assume after not receiving a few of these pings, it would issue a network ...

Re: Network down reporting... too long

Thanks for the reply! I have more comments to make, but I will do so in the other post, so it wouldn't be a duplicate discussion. Thanks again!

Re: Why didn't anyone make an iphone app?

Yes, the refresh problem is quite annoying. I wish someone could fix that on the mobile portal. It wouldn't actually be too hard either. (hint, hint)
