Re: Virtual Keypad for programming EVL3 or 4?

I've been looking around and all I could find that allows to use a virtual keyboard was a device named AD2USB. From what I read I don't understand why it's not a feature available with EVL-3. Mabe a moderator could chime in?? EyezOnRich GrandWizard ? without a land line or an alphanumeric keypad, th...

Partition problem

When I arm/disarm my system I now get 2 emails every time! One for partion1 and another one for partion3. The thing is that I only have 1 partition and my Vista 20p should only have 2 partions at most anyways!! I don't know what I've done wrong but I think it all started when I tried to delete every...

Re: AC failure/ no emal/SMS sent

Thank you both for your reply. I am just a power user and I don't have the right input keyboard for programming. I think there is a way to do it by telnet using a computer but as I was saying, I doubt it is supported on my system. regarding the circuit that you talk about hookie21, I saw your drawin...

Re: AC failure/ no emal/SMS sent

that's a good idea!! Do you know if there is a way to program a Honeywel /Ademco Vista 20P without a phone line? I think there is a way to do it for some systems using command lines (I forgot how it's called) but when I read about it my system was not supported.
thanks!

Re: Activating Central Station Monitoring WHAT GIVES?

I did subscribed recently and it took them a few days to process it. A few days later I had a few questions and I emailed them many times without response for about 3 weeks... I then went on their facebook page and someone replied that they would take care of it the same night. It's been 1 week toda...

Re: AC failure/ no emal/SMS sent

Thanks for the explanation and for the link; that makes sense for the central monitoring but I wish there was a way to be notified just like other events like opening or closing.. I have a sump pump in the basement and even though it's linked to a UPS, I want to know when the power goes out so I can...

Re: AC failure/ no emal/SMS sent

thanks for your reply!

What's odd is when I loged on to my Eyez-On page, it showed that my system was in trouble.. so it should have sent the alert as selected in my options.

AC failure/ no emal/SMS sent

I configured my envisalink to email me and send me SMS on different events and it does work for most of them but it seems that when there is a AC failure, it won't notify me. I just got home and there was a power outtage. My UPS was keeping my router and internet connection running and I logged on m...

SMS alerts delayed ??

Last night I unplugged my modem and router to rerun the wires so I could plug them in my UPS and the whole thing took around 15 minutes. I have the network supervision enabled and for some reason I only received the SMS and email about 5 hours later and it took an extra hour to get the "UP"...
