Re: Monitoring
If you guys can show us a monitoring company that supports DC-09 then we'll invest the effort to support it. But so far, we haven't had any luck.

Re: Device Low Battery Logging
Thanks for sharing Quatchi. I knew there had to be a way to report the event because I have seen it before in my own home, although it was a long time ago.

Re: Feature request
The IP170D does not work with the low-end Alexor system from DSC. You need to use the POWER series products like the 1832, 1616, 1864 etc. We may offer an Alexor version in the future but it will be limited in features compared to the POWER products. This has nothing to do with our technology, it is...

Re: Central Monitoring
The Envisalink IP170D comes with the stock ESP plug-in which allows for automated monitoring with alerts in the form of emails or SMS messages. There will be a plug-in for central monitoring in the future but at this time it is not available.

Re: Device Low Battery Logging
Ok, we can only report what is in the log, so this would be a question for DSC. It is a good one though. What panel do you have?

Re: Device Low Battery Logging
Yes you are correct that logging of low-bats are the responsibility of the panel, not the IPXXX, but I'm pretty sure the Power series panels log low-bats on zones. At least we support these type of events so if they are actually reported by the panel, it should be reported. Do you see an event in yo...

Re: Line Cut Alert?
It seems the portal people got ahead of the service people and put that option on the website before the service people released the software to actually do line-cut.
It will be ready for the weekly server release which goes live on Sunday nights, Eastern time.
Sorry about that.

Re: New Install triggers fault light
Whoa, sorry, I missed your comment that the LED 8 on the *2 was on, that means the panel lost time, that's all. You need to reprogram the time. Hence the --:--
You lost time if you remove AC and battery on the panel, which is normal when adding a new module.

Yes, the OPER LED should be alternating ON/OFF every second for normal operation.
