Re: New Feature Requests

Just call the 1-800 number and say you're on TEST for the next 30 minutes. You are supposed to do this regularly to make sure everything is working. That's what we have to do today and while this does work, the feedback we are giving you is that this is inconvenient. Please consider this as an enha...

Re: Compass Downloading

I think that Compass downloading is an important feature that would be critical to professional alarm dealers. Looking at the manual for the Cellular BAT, it appears that the way they do is by connecting their device to the alarm panel using both the ECP (keypad) bus and the phone line connection. O...

Re: asus router port range

Port forwarding is not required for the Envisalink. Envisalink will initiate a connection back to the Eyez-on server.

Re: Mounting kit for EVL 3 module

I used double sided foam tape. It works ok. It would be nice if EyezOn provided a convenient and secure alternative.

Re: New Feature Requests

I would like to see a selection on the web portal that allows the system to be put into test mode for 30 min, 1 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours, etc. This would be more convenient than having to phone the central station. I would also like to see the text messages sent during test mode to be marked as "...

Re: improvement suggestions to email/sms alarm reporting

Regarding 4 and 5... As you said, when I made all contacts "SMS style" it did shorten the message. Location is still included, although with only one location on the account, it doesn't add value in my case. I view the SMS/email setting implementation as a fault, not "working as desig...

Re: improvement suggestions to email/sms alarm reporting

Thank you for your quick response. 2. The sms messages from envisacorp.com stopped on Friday. All since that time are from eyezon.com. I'll see if any future ones come from envisacorp.com. These were not bounce messages to my phone. 3. I just checked this and there multiple SMTP RCPT commands, but t...

improvement suggestions to email/sms alarm reporting

I have some comments that I think can improve alarm reporting capability by email and SMS. Please consider these for your service. 1. Why not call a "closing" an "authorized arm" and an "opening" an "authorized disarm?" While the contact ID standard may agree ...

Re: How do I wire to a Honeywell Vista 20 panel?

The wires from the EnvisaLink3 connect to the Ademco keypad bus. The colors match the following connection screws on the Vista 20 terminal strip. 4 Black Ground 5 Red +12 volts 6 Green Data from keypad (Envisalink3) 7 Yellow Data to keypad (Envisalink3) If you look at the connection diagram (in the ...
