Re: Honeywell Vista 20P and Time Changes?
Thanks, GW. Both of those are pretty much what I expected to hear. So I can change it if I want (I probably will), but it won't really make any difference to anything that much matters. ETA: Ha! I guess 1. I programmed-in the DST change dates and times, because it was already right and 2. It has a p...

Honeywell Vista 20P and Time Changes?
It's that time of year, here, again, and one of the devices on my List is "alarm system." The thing is: Annoyingly, the Vista 20P doesn't tell you what it thinks is the current time. Question is: Does it automatically get sync'd to what the Envisalink system has for time? Or do I still nee...

Not Receiving App Notifications Consistently, Recently
Honeywell Vista 20p EnvisiLink 4 iPhone 6s, iOS 12.1.2 Failed to receive app notifications of arming each of the last two nights. In each case: Noticed it, disarmed and re-armed for test purposes. In each case the subsequent disarms and re-arms resulted in notifications, though the disarm notificati...

Re: EVL4 stopped sending me sms messages
When I changed something on my network, I recall not what, I had to log in to the EVL and reboot it to persuade it to "see" the change.

Re: EVL 4, DSC and lost installer code - hacking my own system
It worked. I guess investing in the envisalink saved me buying a new panel, so it's definitely a selling point. Congratulations! That was an inventive solution to your problem :) The basic truth is, "if you lose physical access to your system it's not your system anymore." Yup. Without ph...

And I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate Eyez-On's developers on the iOS version of that app. Works like a champ!

Re: Can I use both an LTE SEM and Envisalink on DSC PowerSeries
Really, everything about it haha. How much does it cost for one. Is there a contract? Can we somehow use cellular as a backup? Looks like GW answered your questions. Good! As for using cellular for backup: I achieved that by having an LTE modem and a router that does automatic fail-over to the LTE ...

Re: Can I use both an LTE SEM and Envisalink on DSC PowerSeries
Why don't you just use our Professional monitoring? It's a lot cheaper than the .com retail equipment. And works like a charm. They were easy to work with when I first set it up and did a walk-through test and they responded as fast as we could get to the panel on the couple times the system's alar...

Re: Cannot connect to Envisalink server
Hi, I have an EVL-4 board that is working properly on my local network - it connects properly to my alarm system and to my home automation system. The EVL shows that it is not connected to the Envisaslink server, although it knows the IP address of the server (198.61.170.85). I have a few questions...
