Entry Zones Not Reporting On Alarm
Honeywell Vista 20P EnvisaLink4 Arm the system. Wait. Trigger an entry. Wait for siren. Wait 30s dial delay. No alarm reported. No email. No text message. CS reports nada. However: What I do get, every time, is a double "opening by user <whomever>" at about the time I should think the alar...

Re: Two EnvisaLink on one DSC Panel?
--alternatively-- If I had a router which could handle two "wan" ports - it could presumably ship packets over the working path -- and in that case -- similar questions - two monitoring arrangements, or one - and two "Locations" or one location with multiple IP's? If I were goin...

Re: EnvisAlarm: New Install: Walk Test Recommended?
I assume that you have set up as Ademco Contact ID format . I believe so. (I pretty much let everything default if either the default seemed reasonable or I did not 100% understand the implications of changing it.) With that you must set a report code for every zone to something other than 00. You ...

Re: EnvisAlarm: New Install: Walk Test Recommended?
Thanks for the reply and the detailed testing protocol, Flyct! I think I'll alter it, slightly, though. I have already tested the smoke, with real smoke, and know it works. So I think I'll forego testing it again in the walk test. I will however, trigger it for the CS reporting test. How often do yo...

EnvisAlarm: New Install: Walk Test Recommended?
New (Honeywell Vista 20P) panel. All zones, incl. smoke/fire (w/real smoke), tested as they were connected. Finished the last magnetic switch on the last zone last night. EnvisAlarm activation was completed earlier in the day. I have not tested actual alarm conditions (e.g.: arm & trip) since th...

Re: Help, zone 10 battery
My wireless motion sensor What model of wireless motion sensor? Do you still have the instructions for it? Or can you find them on the web? Does it have any facility, such as my Honeywell 5800PIR COM does, to let you know it's alive and "seeing" things after a battery replacement? battery...

Re: Late Alerts to my iPhone and email
... Looking at the message headers (which I should have done first) the mail makes it to Outlook.com nearly instantly, but just isn't delivered to the inbox right away. For whatever reason Outlook.com is now slowing down delivery of multiple emails from individual senders. ... It's really annoying ...

Re: Alarm Relay AND Eyez-On Simultaneous Accounts
Have you read the InvisaLink 3 & 4 Primer? Seems like it should be pretty straight-forward.NonTech wrote:Is it possible to add-back the Envisalink 3 module to our Eyez-On Account so that we can have access via the Eyez-On Account mobile link on our iPhones/iPads?

Re: Late Alerts to my iPhone and email
Alerts are transmitted within milliseconds of the events happening. If there are any delays they are with your service providers, not with us. That has been my experience. I got my Honeywell Vista 20P set up last weekend. Alarms and non-time-sensitive events go to both her email and mine. Hers to t...
