Re: Network Supervision Fault - Line Cut?
You have network supervision enabled. When it is enabled if your unit stops communicating for more than 5 minutes, it generates a network supervisory error. You get a restore as soon as communications are re-established. At any one time we see about 1% of our customers in "network supervisory&q...

Re: Alert when the 2ds looses internet connection
Yep its called network supervisory alerts. From your account go to manage contacts, pick the contact that you want to get the alert, then select "Assign Devices". If you have more than one of our products select which once, then select "modify". There are some check-boxes there, ...

Re: Web site history
For zone timers (we're the only one who offers this BTW), we currently have this capped out at about an hour as you have already noticed. While there is little we can do about legacy products like the Envisalink 1 (IP100D), we are looking at making this period variable in the Envisalink 2. For the b...

Re: PMG 1 requiring pass code
Look under PGM attributes. You will see a bit for "User code required?", turn that off.
DSC's programming is daunting, that's why we try and handle as much as we can for our customers on the network side.
If you can't find it I'll try and find the actual programming sections.

Re: PMG 1 requiring pass code
PGM's need to be set to not require a user code to use this feature. This is a DSC thing, not our requirement. The relevant sections are in your 5015 installers manual. This also applies to zone bypassing from the portal. If you have programmed your panel to require a user code, then you can't bypas...

Re: EnvisaLink 2DS vs. IP170D

Re: Network Line Speed of EnvisaLink 2DS?
The Envisalink 2DS (model IP170) uses a 10Base-T Ethernet controller. It will work on all higher rate network switches (100/1000), but itself, negotiates at 10Mbps.

Re: Firmware/Software Updates for EnvisaLink 2DS
Firmware upgrades are being handled by the network server group right now in batch process. If you just installed your unit you may have to wait for the next "batch" to be done. We will switch to user initiated firmware upgrades in the future along with beta firmware opportunities. Right n...
