Re: thermostat capabilities
Technically, yes, you can have up to four (4) thermostats on a system. I am checking with the firmware people to see if this is fully implemented in the latest release.

Re: thermostat capabilities
In order to use the HVAC capabilities on the IP100D you need to have both an ESCORT 5580TC installed along with an EMS-100 (EMS-300 and EMS-400 work but only have 2 occupancy modes and there has been reports of issues with the current firmware). Indeed, the company that DSC used to buy their thermos...

Re: Feature Request: Customize Alert Messages
You can't customise alert messages but there will be format options available shortly (SMS vs. Email). You can already insert zone names by simply naming the zones from your account. The alerting engine will use your zone label instead of its numeric value if one is defined. Smiley face? Sure, we ca...

Re: Alarm message questions
Hi there, the IP100D reports the internal events of your DSC panel verbatim. These are the same events that you would see in your local event log (*6). Special Closing means that a closing (arming of the system) has happened without a known user. Typically you will see this if you quick arm, or use ...

Re: New Feature Requests
A new feature request for both the Eye-Zon portal and the Envisalink (local) webpage... Every night I set the home alarm system using the (*9 + usercode)= "No-Entry Delay Arm", this turns all zones to instant and disables motion detector. This (*9 + usercode)= "No-Entry Delay Arm&quo...

Re: New Feature Requests
Ah, I see what you're doing wrong. When you enter a User Label, the user number is the actual user number (1-99 - depends on your panel), not the password PIN. So for user 40 (master user), you would enter 40, not the password. Maybe that's not clear on the website, I'll log a note for the Portal fo...

NEW FEATURE ANNOUNCEMENT - Away Arming
We've added a new arming feature to the portal to address a long-standing issue whereby if you arm your system remotely and do not trip an exit zone, the system will always arm in the STAY mode. We've now added a couple of new commands that emulate the ARM STAY and ARM AWAY buttons on a standard key...
