Re: How to access Envisalink Local Webpage? Bug?
Or check your router "attached devices" page which will also tell you what IP address your EVL has been assigned.

Re: DSC. How to read Zone Names from Keypad?
Post the model of the keypad and panel. One of two things are happening - either you don't have a keypad that allows for zone names to be entered, or the installer never did it. In the latter case, you will either need to find the paperwork associated with the system (we used to write it in the owne...

Re: EnvisAlert pre purchase question
Envisalert (free) does this. IIRC there was a post stating that the default is 10 minutes - to reduce the number of false alarms based on transient outages or IP renewal, I suppose.

Re: Alarm Notification Question
Absolutely - but you need to define the zones to get the most out of it. I have named the zone with the zone # followed by a description. Here's a recent alarm message. Re: EnvisaLink keypad
Update: for giggles I bought the paid version of DSCkeypad, called DSCserver. It includes DSCkeypad. I was skeptical, but by converting an older android phone I can indeed use that as a server to connect multiple instances of DSCkeypad, which means the limit of one device connecting to the EVL3 is r...

Re: EnvisaLink keypad
There are a couple of apps you could put on an old android phone that can connect to the EVL on your intranet. Envisadroid (older) and DSCkeypad (recommended, frequently updated, with a paid version that can - supposedly - support multiple connections).

Re: Brand new to Envisalink.. questions about DSC system install
The 5010s also throw an error/trouble light if the time is not properly set. So do that first/too.
The other thing you may wish to consider is buying a new/used LCD keypad (they can be found on e-bay for $15-20). Makes any future work or programming dramatically easier.

Re: Envisalink 3 Lost Connection with Server
Rather than setting a static IP on the EVL, set a "DHCP reservation" (sometimes called static ARP) on the router, associated with the MAC on the EVL. For all intents and purposes it is the same, except that the router sets the IP rather than the EVL.

Re: Mobile App
I am the developer of Envisulize Can you point to someplace where there is a description of the app and its requirements? It seems quite large for an interface to the portal, and I'm curious about why it asks for an account to be created. Storing credentials for my alarm anyplace other than locally...
