Recent Events shows only Zone 1

I have setup a, new to me, Vista20P (ADT) panel and connected to Envisalink 3. The set up started from factory default reset (*97). Status page shows accurate activity, but Recent Events page only shows Zone 1 open and close. ZT-01, P-1, RC-10 (default, I didn't change) HW-EL, RT-1. All Zones are set to Report Code 10. I have the Eyez-On Zone Follower set to Zone 8 only (for future use, Zone 8 not enabled until I get a Garage door sensor.) I can provide more config info if needed, I just don't know where to start.

Recent Events only show "Events", zone activity is not an event except if you use what is called a Zone Follower. Zone Activity is shown on the Zone Grid and the Zone Activity Log.

Thanks for your Reply and I understand, But what constitutes an Event? I am getting Many Zone 1 Events and I am not sure why? These events are shown as "Open" and "Closed." I have Zone 8 as a Follower, but I have not enabled Zone 8 in the Vista yet. I plan to use Zone 8 to follow my garage door, but I have not installed the sensor yet.

That would mean you have enabled a Zone Follower on Zone 1. Turn that off and you won't get your event logged cluttered with all the noise.

Ok, I have turned off Zone Follower on Zone 8 (it was not enabled on 1) and I will see how that affects the Events. I will re-enable Zone Follower on 8 when I get it installed and configured.

Is there documentation on what triggers "Events?" Are there other events besides what is programmed in *59 through *76?

I may install another panel at another location... Do you have a personal preference on Panel Make and model. If you prefer not to publicly endorse one over another you can PM me.
