Panel Time is one hour off

Post by mmbridges »

I currently have a DSC1864 with a 2DS and the automatic time update box checked on the eyez-on.com portal. So does panel Daylight Savings Time need to be enabled or disabled? I currently have it disabled (sec 017 bit 6 off) but my panel time keeps getting updated to be one hour behind what it should be on the East Coast.

If you have a newer panel that supports DST then you should have this turned off.

Check your Eyez-on account and make sure your current time-zone is EDT and not EST. If you set your time-zone to DST now, it will automatically be set back to standard time in the fall.

If you are still having problems email us at support@eyez-on.com with your MAC address and we can look at you account settings.

That was it. I had my time zone set to EST instead of EDT. Thanks!

When I set up my Eyez-On account I had the time set to EST, not EDT, which I corrected the next day. Will I need to change these settings manually in November and March, or does this change automatically?
