I have installed the envisalink 2ds in a pc1864 panel. All 4 of the lights are responding correctly and I can locate the envisalink in my router.
I have tried envisalink and envisalinke with no success.
Using the Ip address that is listed for the envisalink in my router, which is 192.168.0.15 I still cannot connect.
I have tried reseting the router and then resetting the envisalink and I have tried to access it from a mac and windows pc both with wired and wireless connections on both machines.
any insight would be appreciated

First, you might need a reboot of the PC's..
Second, the type of Web Browser your using may affect you accessing it.. Internet Explorer and Chrome work for me..
Third, I could never get access using Envisalink in the browser bar, instead I could only access it through IP.. You could try 192.168.0.15:80 to gain access to it..
Four, you should look into if you have a Firewall running on your machines and either allow access to that IP or disable it..

Re: Can't connect locally even with envisalink ip address
Thanks for the detailed response. I tried all of those suggestions and still had no luck. In desperation I disconnected everything else that was hardwired to the router and left only the Envisalink connected. I can now connect from any of the computers using Firefox, Crome, and Safari. So, now I have to figure out what the network problem is but at least I am confident that the Envisalink is not the issue. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Sounds like you have something else using port 80 from one of the connected devices on the router..

Sounds like a possible DHCP and Static IP conflict. Maybe you've got 2 devices trying to share the same IP? As you reconnect all of your devices, check the DHCP lease table in the firewall to get a list of IP adresses in use. Then, check all of your static IP's you may have assigned to see if you have duplication. That's always an issue when using DHCP and Static in the same subnets. You can also ping the 2DS's IP...then disconnect and see if that IP continues to respond with the 2DS unplugged but all of your other devices plugged in. I suspect you'll find something --
