PMG 1 requiring pass code

Post by mehul.popat »

I am logging on locally on to the 2DS and trying to toggling the programable output 1 PMG 1 however one of the tiles go yellow and say "code required" and the output doesn't change. I have a DSC 5015 alarm with an escort module. How do I toggle PMG1? How can I enter the access code.

PGM's need to be set to not require a user code to use this feature. This is a DSC thing, not our requirement. The relevant sections are in your 5015 installers manual.

This also applies to zone bypassing from the portal. If you have programmed your panel to require a user code, then you can't bypass zones from the portal.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I found an option for allowing / not allowing pass codes for zone bypassing in the DSC alarm but ther is no option for disabling pass codes for PMG1. Is there a string I can type in a browser which will toggle the output by including my pass code?

Look under PGM attributes. You will see a bit for "User code required?", turn that off.

DSC's programming is daunting, that's why we try and handle as much as we can for our customers on the network side.

If you can't find it I'll try and find the actual programming sections.
