So after having the EnvisaLink for a few months now, I finally killed my monitored alarm. Having done that, I am now getting the TLM error on my keypad. Fortunately, just a light and no beeping.
I've read that I need the installer code to disable the TLM, but I don't have the installer code.
My questions are:
1) Does the TLM error impact the alarm's ability to contact the EyezOn monitoring?
2) Should I try to get the installer code (I'm sure I'll have to pay) or is it okay to leave the error light?
Are there any good/easy ways to trick the alarm into thinking I have a phone line?
Thanks!

Re: TLM Question
Yes, you need the installers code to disable TLM. Furthermore, if you have an actual alarm you will get another error on your system called FTC (fail to communicate) which will cause your keypads to beep on trouble.
You can trick the panel into thinking the phone line is present by applying between 16Vdc and 50Vdc to the TIP and RING connections on the panel. Make sure it is DC and not AC. While this will fix the TLM issue it will not fix an FTC.

Re: TLM Question
Update for anyone with a similar issue.
I have a MagicJack for home phone. I was able to tap into my phone line (tied into my MagicJack) and run the line to the alarm panel and get enough power to end the TLM. Now I just need to get in the attic and run a permanent line down. Saves me the $125 it would have cost to get the installer code.
