I have my Envisalink 4 installed in the system box, and activated, but not wired into the Vista 15P yet.
Patiently (sort of) waiting for my 6160 keypad to come in, as I only have a 6150 now.
What I was wondering is what I would need to do and/or NOT do in order to run the EVL-4EZ at the same time as the system is being monitored via the POTS line?
I have read a number of posts on the forum about this idea - but most talk about what you need to program, which I would like to wait to do until I get the 6160. I don't want a bunch of alerts gong to the monitoring alarm station.
So, assuming I do no programming, and simply wire the EVL-4EZ into the box and then power it up, will I be able to monitor via IP?
Or am I better off to wait?

wait for the 6160. You must program your panel for it to communicate.
