Best Alarm Panel for EVL4

About to purchase a 2nd panel for my brothers alarm system. WHAT panel works BEST with EVL4?

I currently have the Vista 20P and it works pretty well except when armed I get no zones updates (or is it the reverse...whatever). But I think I read that the DSC panel (1832) works better and gives more data to the EVL4.

Anyhow, can I get a QUICK answer as to what alarm system works best with EVL4? About to purchase so just need a quick answer. Vista 20P, DSC 1832, or something else. Thank very much

Well, you're familiar with what you get with a Vista so with DSC you get all that plus some nice extras, some of which are:

- you can get zone info when armed,
- you can see which zones are bypassed on the zone grid,
- you can configure user codes remotely (E+ feature)
- 8 Partitions

So if you are starting from scratch, buy a DSC panel like the 1864, 1832, or 1616
